E-nabling The Future
A newtwork of passionate volunteers using 3D Printing to give the world a "Helping Hand."
I was able to join this group worldwide, in which I shared some of my ideas and most of all was able to read from people who have been wearing such prosthetic hand and their experiences. This network was really gratifying to work with.

S.E.R.L.I

Tecnologa
Patricia Espinoza
"Un doctor puede curar a una persona, pero una rehabilitadora ve la evolucion de la person hasta que mejore. "
Tecnologa Patricia Espinoza, was my "Service Mentor" in S.E.R.L.I. She guided me in all the different excersicises the patients can and couldn't do. She also gave me some very insightful tips about medicine and physical therapy. Although her main purpose in S.E.R.L.I wasn't being a physical therapist, but a teacher, she still helped as much as she could. Through the days that went by, I was able to not only help the patiens, but also get very helpful advice from her.
Daisy Zambrano
"Recien hace dos dias pudo recuperar su mobilidad en la mano, no puede parar de sonreir." - Mom of Daisy Zambrano
Patient Daisy Zambrano, was born with a tumor in her right side of the brain, this prevented her from being able to move all the left portion of her body. After going through many severe surgeries, they had to take out almost the whole right brain, leaving her with a "hole". Throughout the years she has been able to recuparate the movement in her body. She is just 3 years-old. The doctors have told the mother that she would be getting better attention, but they have not complied with their promise. The mother went and seeked help in S.E.R.L.I, they are now placing "Piernas Prostesis Laterales" so she can learn to walk better. I am very honored and graced that I was able to meet Daisy and learn from her experiences.
