3D Printed Hand Prosthetic
My Senior Project revolves on learning how to design(atleast the basics), being able to succesfully 3D print the prosthetic hand, assembling the hand with all the appropiates tools, and finally donating the hand to someone in need.
I wouldn't have been able to do this project if it wasn't for my mentor, Ralph Suastegui, and the guidance of Mrs. Aguirre and Ms. Yangali. Including, everyone else who helped me contact the necessary people.
Apart from my project, I also wanted to engage in service, not only by donating the hand, which drastically changes a person life, but by also learning first hand how it feels to live without a limb. For this, I went first to a physical theraphy consulting office and then went to S.E.R.L.I in order to see how patients were treated and help out in any way possible.
